What time is your Sunday worship service? We have two worship services each Sunday. Our 9am and our 11am services offer a similar worship experience. Still, the 11am service may include the performances of our adult or children's choir, as well as an occasional praise dance performance. Both services participate in communion on the first Sunday of every month, and all believers are welcome to partake as well.
What is the music like? The Bible tells us to worship God in Spirit and in truth. You will truly experience different styles of Spirit-filled music at the Lighthouse- from old fashion hymns, to gospel and contemporary.
Are there opportunities to serve in ministryA. Yes, there is a myriad of opportunities to serve in several ministries including, but not limited to:
What do I wear?A. There is no dress code at the Lighthouse. Some wear their "Sunday best" but, while most others will have slacks and a casual shirt or even jeans. Still, we understand the feeling of not wanting to feel over- or under- dressed. So many of our members gravitate toward the "dress casual" style of clothing.
Who goes to your church?A. We have quite a mixture of people at the Lighthouse. Our congregation welcomes many people from different walks of life. You'll find different age groups, relationship statuses, races, and career paths. But what is most important, is that you will find that the peope who go here are the kind of people who are welcome- everyone!
What is your denomination?A. Although we do not have denominational affiliations, we are a Christ-centered, evangelical Christian church.
What do you offer for children on Sunday morning? The Bible tells us to "train up a child in the way that they should go" and we take that training to heart. Currently, we have programs during our 11am services.
Ages 4 to 12A. Our fun and upbeat T-lights children church program are for children ages 4 to 12. They can expect singing, crafts and games, light snacks, and prizes.
Ages 13 to 18A. For your teen, our Illunim8 youth group meet every first and third Sunday of the month. They discuss age appropriate topics for today. They then look to scripture for guidance in these areas.
